What SHOWBLiZ is
SHOWBLiZ is a free discovery platform for live theater and performing arts in Miami and South Florida. We are not a ticketing service. We don't sell tickets and we don't take money from artists, venues, or users. Every listing is free.
Accepting these terms
Using SHOWBLiZ means you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Accounts
You need a real, working email address to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for anything that happens under it. You can delete your account at any time by emailing hello@showbliz.com.
Data accuracy
Listings on SHOWBLiZ are aggregated from public sources — venue websites, ticketing platforms, and press releases. We work hard to keep them accurate, but we can't guarantee that every date, time, price, or ticket link is correct.
Always verify with the venue directly before purchasing tickets. SHOWBLiZ is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate listing information.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape or bulk-harvest SHOWBLiZ content in ways that damage the service
- Use automated tools to abuse the platform (spam, fake accounts, denial-of-service)
- Submit false or misleading production information
- Use SHOWBLiZ for any purpose that violates US federal or Florida state law
Listing submissions
Submitting your production, venue, or event to SHOWBLiZ is free. By submitting, you grant SHOWBLiZ a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that information on the platform and in search results. You can request removal at any time by emailing hello@showbliz.com.
Intellectual property
SHOWBLiZ's design, code, and original curation belong to SHOWBLiZ. Production data — show titles, descriptions, dates, images — belongs to the artists and venues who created it. We display it under fair use and with the understanding that public event information is meant to be found.
If you believe we're displaying your content in a way that infringes your rights, email hello@showbliz.com and we'll respond promptly.
No warranties
SHOWBLiZ is provided "as is." We don't guarantee uptime, data accuracy, or that any particular feature will work at any given time. We'll do our best — but we make no legal warranties.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, SHOWBLiZ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site — including, for example, buying a ticket for a show that was cancelled or rescheduled. Our total liability for direct claims is limited to $100 USD.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Disputes
If you have a problem, email hello@showbliz.com first. Most things can be resolved directly. If we can't agree, disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of SHOWBLiZ after an update means you accept the revised terms.
