Improv Acting 1 - Improv Scenework

This foundational course introduces performers to the core principles of improvisational scenework, teaching them how to build believable characters and environments in real-time collaboration with scene partners. Students learn essential techniques such as "yes, and" acceptance, active listening, and status dynamics to create compelling scenes without a script. Through games, exercises, and scene work, participants develop confidence, spontaneity, and the ability to think quickly while maintaining coherent storytelling with fellow performers.
