Actors Community Theatre of Davie

Actors Community Theatre of Davie is a non-equity, non-profit, all-volunteer community theater founded in 2000 in Davie, Florida, located in Broward County just west of Fort Lauderdale. The theater originated when the Davie Town Council placed an ad seeking "thespians" in January 2000, and the first production, "An Evening of Scenes: The Passion of Tennessee Williams, The Laughter of Neil Simon," premiered in October 2000 at Robbin's Lodge. The organization now performs at the Pine Island Park Multipurpose Center at Bamford Park (3801 S. Pine Island Road) and produces approximately three productions per year, ranging from classic plays to contemporary works and murder mystery dinner theater. ACT of Davie presents plays and special theatrical events at affordable ticket prices and partners with groups such as Mystery on the Menu to expand its programming offerings.
