Carolina Laursen is an Argentine actress, writer, and theater director born on October 28, 1980, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

She has established herself as an award-winning figure in Miami's theater community, where she creates and directs original plays that have been staged internationally, with work exploring themes relevant to Latinx experiences.

Laursen has written and adapted more than 30 short plays, many presented internationally through festivals, with representative works including El tango de la Injusticia (2013), La isla Bonita (2023), and Spanglish Robin Hood (2025).

As of 2025, she continues to work actively in independent short films and theater productions in Miami, including co-writing and appearing in Panther G (2024), which earned the audience award at the Miami Short Film Festival.
