LA CALLE

LA CALLE is Carne Viva's bi-weekly community initiative that brings art, movement, and education into the everyday lives of neighborhoods. Rooted in the belief that community shapes practice and practice shapes community, the series offers accessible mid-week classes led by artists across disciplines who are actively creating change. Welcoming all bodies and all experience levels, LA CALLE challenges traditional ideas of who gets to move, create, and belong, using dance, music, and text as tools for artivism, cultural exchange, and collective empowerment.
