The Moth StorySLAM is an open-mic storytelling competition where community members share true, personal five-minute stories on a given theme. For the REVENGE edition, participants prepare stories about retaliation, proportional justice, payback, comeuppance, and laughing last. The evening features a community of storytellers competing to share their experiences of revenge—whether served cold, lived well, or executed through karma. Stories explore how revenge can consume and ruin, or conversely, provide the satisfaction necessary to move on. The event takes place at Sandrell Rivers Theater and is organized by Fantasy Theatre Factory in partnership with The Moth, which hosts storytelling competitions in 28 cities across the US, Australia, and UK.
